As we move into the Year of the Jade Snake, we look at the personality traits of Snake people and how this mood will influence the collective depending on our own Bazi Horoscope.
The Snake is intelligent, analytical, serene, charming, sensual, reserved, private, mysterious, alluring, determined, persistent, enigmatic, and sophisticated. The shadow side of this personality is cautious, suspicious, calculating, vengeful, jealous, possessive.
Snake people are traditional, beautiful, wise, thinkers more than doers, innately sophisticated, reflective, and sought out for their advice, counsel, and ability to negotiate. They can position themselves in powerful, influential situations easily. They are serene and rarely let you into their true feelings so it’s hard to know when they’re stressed or what they are thinking or feeling, hence why they are often called enigmatic. Remember the Dragon that came before, has the skin of a Snake and is also enigmatic, they carry some of those same traits as tough skinned.
Donald Trump, President elect, is born in the Year of the Snake and you can see how many of these qualities are reflected in how he governs, leads, and operates in his career.
If you are born in the Hour of the Snake, this is an ascendant influence that makes you more self-reflective, introspective, a deep processor, objective, and wise. This also is likely to make you more sexual and attractive.

The Snake is the season of early summer. So, this is likely to be one helluva hot year with temperatures soaring with record breaking highs, more wildfires as there is no water this year. Droughts will also be an issue made worse by mono agriculture. Solar flares are also predicted to be at an all-time peak resulting in interferences to our technology, power grids, and other issues for us here on Earth.
This is a year for a new beginning, to release that which no longer serves you, to allow for a deep, transformative purging, renovation, self-reclamation, and profound change. This requires more introspection through prayer or meditation, journaling, sourcing information from seers, healers, astrologers, and connecting more to the spirit world than to the madness of the world outside your door. - Right away you see that this is a year of a double spring, Day of the Rabbit (March), and Month of the Tiger (February).
- 3 of the 4 pillars have a Yin Stem meaning the Yin/ Yang is out of balance, even as we experience increased harmony in 2025.
- There are 2 Nobleman Stars in this Bazi, the Day and Year are both blessed with protection, Spirit Guides, Angels, and other galactic influence.
- Something very unique happens in this Year’s Bazi, the Fire Penalty of the Tiger, Snake and Monkey is made complete with the presence of the Pig, like closing off a square with the 4th side. In this equation, and this releases wealth, and prosperous opportunity.
- BUT that being said, the Pig is the enemy of the Snake so conflict is prevalent. It shows how even in the best situations, elements can still go wrong. In the best of friendships, we still have quarrels. This feels competitive, a power struggle or grab for power.

- The Rabbit will Harm the Dragon of April reducing Earth, this could impact rulers, leaders, and our employment.
- Fire surges in June with a Semi-Fire Trio with the Horse and Tiger, and also the Horse and the Snake form a Semi-Fire Seasonal Trio making this month exceptionally hot, and the stock market may go wild, a great time for success and prospering.
- The Snake forms a semi-Metal Trio with the Rooster of September but is also in Conflict with the Rabbit, so that Metal which is so needed comes in damaged. Limping along, we will take the bits of Metal we can to support our Watery Year.
- Water surges in December with the Rat and Pig forming a Sem-Water Seasonal Trio.
- The Rat of December also forms a Penalty with the Rabbit suggesting some damaging relationships that stab you in the back. It is a cautious time and one in which you will need to be more conservative with spending and with any new relationships.

- The Day Master element of 2025 is Yin Water which is the ruler of the Snake’s Fire and is pretty strong at 29%, this is competition which is not too terrible, manageable. You will need to be vigilant of who you trust, confide in, and partner with to ensure you aren’t usurped, or overwhelmed by someone else.
- Fire needs to be nurtured to ensure in all the Wood and Water, it can stay vibrant. Fire is money and you will need to go treasure hunting to bring the wealth potential to the surface.
- Wood is super strong at 45% and it is a powerful source of support to the Fire which is a little weak at 12%. In fact, Fire may feel overwhelmed by all that Wood, so adding Fire is helpful. That would be focusing on activities related to the arts, horses, leadership roles, innovation, spending time in the sun, and eating bitter foods like coffee and dark chocolate.
- Earth is balanced at 15% offering stability. Without Metal, the heavy Wood isn’t kept in check, so adding Metal can also be important to success and bringing your ideas into reality.
- There is a lot of fresh energy to this year, a new beginning as we enter the Age of Aquarius. It is the birth of a the New Earth. Every one of us is going through some kind of transformation in 2025, shifting us collectively into this higher conscious vibration.
