March 2025 Flying Stars Feng Shui

We began 2025 with all of the Flying Stars DOUBLED in February. This month brings us to a fight, a battle, and conflict is swirling all over every home, office, store, etc. This is not an energy for the light hearted or the anxious, this is a call for a more quiet, reclusive, self-care focused month. Take heed and direct your focus to the BEST rooms in your home, even if it’s one room. The first day of MARCH IS THE 5TH, a Yin Earth Rabbit month. 2 Earth with 9 Fire and Visiting 1 Water– Center Earth

ANNUAL STARS: The Earth here is a comfort to the 2 Star going through transition in Period 9. The 9 Star nourishes the Earthy 2 with Fire which is a caution that the 2 Star reverts to its Yellow Star of Sickness Period 8 tendencies. The risk of Fire related illnesses like heart disease, heartbreak, high blood pressure, stroke, and relationship issues is to be monitored. Best to keep this area calm. A bathroom here will drain wealth. Be mindful of digestive issues too. The 9 Star’s position here for Period 9 coupled with the 2 Star can work to our advantage with wealth, fame, and success.

MONTHLY STARS: For March, the 1 Water Star comes in and brings good money luck with the 9 Star.

CURES:

• Display a singing/ round metal bowl or Dragon Headed Turtle to overcome obstacles.
• If there is no space for items, hang a black and white prayer or poem in a metal frame that offers a blessing to the family and home.
• Bring in the color purple to honor the 9 Star like a chunk of amethyst
• For MARCH – add a Metal Happy Hotei to motivate success and wealth. People most impacted are older women (2 Star) becoming over powering and dominating sons or middle-aged men (1 Star). Look at this configuration both at home and at work.

Colors: black, gray, silver, black, and brown. Metal furnishings, or painted white, black, or gray. Add a pop of purple. March cure is a Brass Happy Hotei.

Avoid: Earthy colors like yellow, tan, peach, Fiery colors like fuchsia, red, or orange, Wood, green, Water, or blue. 

1 Water with 8 Earth and Visiting 9 – South East Wood

ANNUAL STARS: This is a weakening influence especially with the ruling Earth element present to control the 1 Star but there is good fortune to be found here as this star combination brings money luck, future wealth, promotion, success, helpful people, and good relations. This is a good place for an office, teacher, or student. Remember the Grand Duke or Tai Sui is in 142.5-157.5 (home of the Snake), this is very close to the South. DO NOT FACE THIS DIRECTION.

MONTHLY STARS: For March, the 9 Star brings in tremendous wealth, success, promotion, and good fortune making the South East the BEST location for this month. CAUTION: The Grand Duke here still demands that we respect this part of our homes and yards by not doing any renovations, constructions, or deep digging.

Cures:

• Pi Yao beasts facing into that SE3 142.5-157.5 direction.
• If this is a bedroom and you cannot sleep elsewhere in your home, put a Wu Lou Health Gourd on the bedside table and a Salt Water cure under the bed for protection of your health.
• Display a 2025 Tai Sui image or Grand Duke statue prominently placed.
• Do not disturb this area of your home or yard with loud construction, noise, and commotion.
• Display a Vision Board representing all you long to manifest in 2025 – be bold, brave, and daring in your vision!
• For March bring in lush plants and images of wealth like a pile of Chinese coins, a piggy bank, or a money toad.

Colors: (NOT FOR MARCH – All shades of Blue with Black, Gray, and some Metal) and lush plants. For March Add GREEN – a throw blanket, pillows, linens, towels, green stones like malachite or turquoise, etc.

AVOID: Fire, fiery colors of red, violet, fuchsia, and orange, Earth, yellow, brown, tan, peach, or rust.

6 Metal with 4 Wood with Visiting 5 Star – South Fire

ANNUAL STARS: This is another year with a conflicted Southern sector of the Ba-Gua. The 6 Star controls the 4 Star bringing great wealth, status, fame, rise in power, and success. Be mindful of mental health issues, especially if this is your bedroom. There is also a risk of lung and large intestine illness. 

MONTHLY STARS: For March, the 5 Star is like poison and is emboldened by the Fire element of the South. Be very careful of erupting health issues, accidents, loss of fame or fortune or position. Relationships may erupt into chaos and upset. Misuse of drugs and alcohol may be at play. This is explosive chi. Take heed.

Cures:

• (Display 6 Gold ingots in a round yellow plate. – NOT FOR MARCH)
• (Add Earth like citrine, amber, quartz crystals, and pottery – NOT FOR MARCH)
• (If a main entrance, hang a string of 6 Chinese Coins from the door. NOT FOR MARCH)
• Yellow bed linens, pillows, rugs, table linens, towels, flowers in your garden, and/or art.
• To motivate changes in your career or to create opportunities for travel, display a Red Horse facing the door.
• For March – do not use as a bedroom or main entrance. Caution with any use of this area, keep it quiet and undisturbed. BLUE is the color to introduce to cool the mood. Display a Wu Lou Health Gourd if this is a bedroom.

Colors: To mitigate and bring in a harmonious flow of chi use the palette of (brown, tan, cream, yellow, peach, terracotta. Avoid for March and bring in BLUE)

AVOID: Black, gray, white, Metal, Water, Fire, fiery colors of red, violet, fuchsia, and orange, Wood, and shades of green.

8 Earth with 6 Metal  – South West Earth

ANNUAL STARS: This is another pairing of an Earth Star being in an Earth sector. This can bring great wealth and good fortune. Too much Earth can cause health issues related to stomach and digestion, immune system, and those areas need to be watched just like in NE and Center. Even with these Stars not being as vibrant in P9, there is great potential for wealth and good fortune.   

MONTHLY STARS: The 7 Metal Broken Soldier Star combined with the 6 Metal Star brings in a battle. This is combative, confrontational, and injurious. Look out for fights that turn violent, illness that requires surgery, and loss of fortune/legal outcomes/ job/ welfare. Major relationship issues especially between fathers and younger sons.

Cures:

• (Add Earth like citrine, amber, quartz crystals, or pottery. NOT FOR MARCH)
• Display a Gold Buddha for money luck with 8 yellow silk flowers in an Earthen vase in a prominent place
• (Create a Love Altar to usher in a new love, or support a current relationship by displaying a pair of Pink Heart Crystals, a Pair of Ducks, a favorite photo of you and your love and/or other meaningful memorabilia. NOT FOR MARCH)
• For March use the color BLUE to drain and weaken the 7 Star. If a bedroom, use a Wu Lou Health Gourd for your health and another cure for general use is a Dragon Headed Turtle to appease conflict.

Colors: (Yellow, Tan, Brown, Rust, Peach, Cream NOT FOR MARCH) Use the colors of white and blue.

AVOID: Black, gray, white, Metal, blue. Water, Fire, fiery colors of red, violet, fuchsia, and orange, Wood, and shades of green. FOR MARCH NO EARTH TONES AND YES TO BLUE

4 Wood with 2 Earth – West Metal

ANNUAL STARS: This is in conflict and requires mitigating with Water colors, not actual Water. Be mindful of mental health, fighting among women, academic luck, popularity with a caution, digestive, spleen, and liver issues. It’s a mixed bag of possible outcomes so be mindful and cautious.

MONTHLY STARS: The month of March brings on the fight with the Woody 3 Star joining the Woody 4 Star and the disharmony creeps into our relationships. Mother and oldest daughter is not a favorable relationship. There is gossip, slander, cat fighting, moodiness, and ill temper.

CURES:

• 4 stalks of Lucky Bamboo in a Blue Vase in a prominent location.  
• Display a Red Happy Hotei for harmony in relationships – FOR MARCH DISPLAY PROMINENTLY
• Use a Brass Pagoda for students or anyone who works in education if this is your office or study.
• FOR MARCH avoid any serious conversations in this room, meetings, social gatherings, etc. This is a room for one this month.

Color: Watery colors are needed in blue pillows, bed linens, artwork, etc.

AVOID: Fire, fiery colors of red, violet, fuchsia, and orange, Wood, green. Earth, yellow, brown, tan, peach, rust, Metal, white, black, and gray.

3 Wood with 1 Water with Visiting 2 Earth – North West Metal

ANNUAL STARS: This is a conflict of Wood and Metal. The 1 Star offers a mitigation of Water. 3 Star is already weak in P9 so this line up should ease the contentious energies here that brings gossip, legal issues, robbery or loss of wealth. This is the Sui Po breaker for 2025, the placement of the Pig, the enemy of the Snake. The Pig in the NW 3 is the one that breaks up the dangerous Punishment of the Tiger Snake and Monkey. NO CONSTRUCTION or loud noises, renovations, or deep digging inside and outside your property.

MONTHLY STARS: The 2 Yellow Earth Star flies in and we have yet another direction that is a hot mess for relationships. The 3 Star is moody and argumentative and combined with the 2 Star is a stressor that can lead to anxiety, feeling bullied, demoted, or sued. This is not a room for meetings, gatherings, or any interpersonal get togethers, This is another room to use solo, if at all.

CURES:

• If this is a bedroom, please have a Wu Lou Health Gourd and a Salt Water cure by the bed for protection of your health. If possible, sleep in another room with better chi.
• Try to avoid this as a main entrance and if not, put up a convex Ba-Gua mirror and put Gold Fu Dogs on either side of the front steps.
• Do not disturb with loud construction, noise, and commotion inside and outside the home.
• No moving water here. 
• Display a Red Happy Hotei for harmony in relationships. ESPECIALLY NEEDED IN MARCH.
• Avoid sitting here for long period of time – do not face SE while in this room.
• Cure for the Sui Po – 4 Celestial Animals Talisman

Color: Blue, white, black pillows, bed linens, rug, towels, and artwork.

AVOID: Fire, fiery colors of red, violet, fuchsia, and orange, Wood, green. Earth, yellow, brown, tan, peach, or rust.

7 Metal with 5 Earth with Visiting 6 Star – North Water

ANNUAL STARS: The 7 Star is compatible as Metal gives birth to Water but the 7 Star is a fighting star that brings lawsuits, arguments that can turn violent, theft, surgery, injury with sharp objects, and gossip or slander. Keep nothing sharp here like knives or guns. The element Water weakens this negative energy. The 5 Earth Star is greatly weakened in this position and the Metal of the visiting Star further drowns out its negative influences but that 5 Star is feeding the 7 so there is interaction and it is not favorable. Caution around lung and large intestine (Metal organs) illnesses.

MONTHLY STARS: The 6 Stars flies in and we have another battle like in the SW. This is combative, injurious, and dangerous. Be mindful of illness related to poison, stress, bullying, and migraines

Cures:

• Put on a table a round Metal bowl to absorb the toxic chi.
• If this is a bedroom please have a Wu Lou Health Gourd and a Salt Water cure by the bed for protection of your health.
• Try to avoid this as a main entrance but if you must, double check security and safety.
• Do not disturb with loud construction, noise, and commotion inside and outside the home.
• A lush house plant is also welcome but no running Water.

Colors: All shades of Blue and White with Metal

AVOID: Fire, fiery colors of red, violet, fuchsia, and orange, Wood, green. Earth, yellow, brown, tan, peach, or rust.

5 Earth with 3 Wood with Visiting 4 Star – North East Earth

ANNUAL STARS: The 5 Star is at home here and as this is the most negative of all the energies, this is NOT a place to use with any regularity like an office, bedroom, or entrance. Add Metal to reduce the misfortune that brings illness, accidents, and horrible events occurring.

MONTHLY STARS: The 4 Star with these Stars is another messy configuration of chi. This is the foreboding of extreme illness, disease, even death, insurmountable obstacles, loss of money, and investments go south.

Cures:

• If this is a bedroom please have a Wu Lou Health Gourd and a Salt Water cure by the bed for protection of your health.
• Try to avoid this as a main entrance but if you must, double check security and safety.
• Do not disturb with loud construction, noise, and commotion inside and outside the home.
• If a main entrance use a pair of Gold Fu Dogs and a Ba-Gua Mirror to protect the home.
• A round Metal Bowl or Dragon Headed Turtle are welcome cures to display. 
• Another option is to hang a 6 Rod Metal Wind Chime outside.
• For March display a Dragon Headed Turtle.

Colors: Black, Gray, White with Metal

AVOID: Fire, fiery colors of red, violet, fuchsia, and orange, Wood, green, Earth, yellow, brown, tan, peach, rust, and Blue.

9 Fire with Metal 7 with Visiting 8 Earth – East Wood

ANNUAL STARS: Here the 9 Star is nourished which adds to the great good fortune in this sector of the home. Middle aged women and middle daughters will have the best year. The San Sha or Three Killings reduces the benefits for this sector unfortunately. Don’t add Fire here as it can be too much, leading to heart issues, blood clots, and mental health or head problems. In this Star formation, the powerful Fire of the 9 Star smelts the Metal of the 7 Star so it is neutralized leading to good fortune.

MONTHLY STARS: The 8 Earth Star combined with the 9 Star bodes well for finances, fame, and great success.

Cures:

• In a prominent place put 9 Purple silk flowers in a green vase with amethyst crystals.
• A couple healthy plants – outside plants flowers that bloom purple like lavender, lilac, or indoor plants could be orchids.
• To appease the Sans Sha affliction place a 3 Celestial Beasts Mirror or Plaque.
• For March add symbols of wealth like a pile of Chinese Coins, a stack of cash, a Money Toad, or a Piggy Bank

Colors: Green, Purple, and Wood element are the focus for design.

AVOID: Fire, fiery colors like red, purple, orange, fuchsia, also Earth like yellow, brown, tan, peach, Metal, white, gray, black, Water and Blue.

Best Directions for March – East and South East, and Center.

Worst Directions for February – North East, North, North West, West, South West, and South
